First Thursday Concerts in the Park

From May to October, thousands of music lovers attend the free concert series in West Mt. Vernon Park featuring a variety of national and regional artists.

Driving Directions

From points North: Take 83 South into Baltimore City.
Take Exit 4 – MD 2 S. / St. Paul Street
Follow the ramp and turn Right onto St. Paul Street
Turn Right onto West Mount Vernon Place
Continue straight through the circle (around Washington Monument)

 

From points Northeast/East: Take 95 South towards Baltimore
Take 695 West towards Towson/Pikesville
Take exit 23 to get on 83 South (and follow directions from the North)

 

From points West: Take 695 East towards Towson/Essex
Take exit 23 – 83 South (and follow directions from the North)

 

From points South: Take 95 North toward Baltimore
Take exit 53 – I 395 North towards downtown
395 becomes Howard Street
Turn Right onto Centre Street
Turn Left onto Washington Place

First Thursday Rain Policy

The Concert will only be cancelled if rain, or threat of rain is heavy enough to pose an imminent or immediate health threat either to the audience or the performers.

 

Cameras are allowed.

 

Pets are allowed, but they MUST be on a leash within West Mount Vernon Park.

 

Children are welcome and have a great time.

 

Alcohol may only be purchased from vendors in the park during the concert.
No alcohol may be brought into the park or taken out of the park.
