Frank Diller, Online Services Manager

Frank Diller
A native of Baltimore, Frank grew up in Perry Hall and attended Johns Hopkins University and the University of Virginia. He joined WTMD in June 2008, returning to the area after spending five years in Chapel Hill, NC, and four years in Marietta, OH.
He has worked as a webmaster at Marietta College, an assistant book review editor for American Scientist magazine, a write for the Library of Congress American Memory site, and a contributing writer for City Paper.
His musical memories include seeing Nirvana, The Breeders and Half-Japanese at American University; having Jeff Tweedy jump on him to crowd-surf during Wilco's "Being There" tour stop at the 9:30 Club; and meeting Olu Dara after a show at Wolf Trap.
When he's not working on WTMD.org, he's reading, attending concerts and hanging out with his daughter Chloe.
Ryan "Bug" Glaeser, Operations Manager

Ryan "Bug" Glaeser
Ryan "Bug" Glaeser maintains the WTMD studios, transmitter, and music computer network. He also serves as the engineer most of the in-studio and remote recordings associated with Morning Sessions, Baltimore Unsigned, and other live performances.
He has worked with numerous artists, including Page McConnell from Phish, Mike Doughty, Jay Bennett (formerly of Wilco), Paolo Nutini, Minnie Driver, Regina Spektor, and Joan Osborne. Ryan has also mixed live sound at various live music events around the area.
Bug is an active member of the local music scene as the drummer for the local indie band FFHH. Past bands he has played with include: Mad Crop, Japan 4, Late Night Hero, and The Destruction of a Peanut Butter & Jelly Sandwich. He is also the co-owner of a promotions company called STO Promotions LLC, which works with artists on the local music scene and has plans to hold a 2-day festival called The Jamosa Music and Arts Festival in 2009.
Chris Hawkins
A graduate of Towson University, Chris decided that he wanted to pursue a career in the music business after finishing school. He went to work for a local music and movie distributor where he worked his way up to Sales Manager.
After many years of trying, he finally landed his dream job of working for a major record company. Chris spent 11 years with Universal Music and Video Distribution as an Account Executive. Looking for a new challenge he decided to try radio advertising sales. He was the National Sales Manager for WCBM before excepting the position as Underwriting Sales Manager for WTMD. Born in Miami Florida, Chris grew up in a musical family. He was very active in his High School and College music programs and loves a wide variety of music. In his spare time he enjoys spending time with his family and watching his two sons play soccer. He also enjoys golf, tennis, skiing and jammin’ on his sax or guitar. His life long goal is to visit every Caribbean Island, so far he has only been to eight of them.
Nick Jackson, Baltimore Unsigned Producer; Videographer
A recent graduate of Towson University, Nick earned a degree in Electronic Media and Film, but he developed a love for audio during his studies and decided to pursue a career in radio. After college, Nick relocated to Maryland and started producing Baltimore Unsigned.
Nick definitely inherited his dad's love for music. Growing up, everything from B.B. King to the Red Hot Chili Peppers would be playing around the house. This eclectic range in music still shows up in his music collection today and allows him to enjoy all genres of new artists in and around Baltimore.
When he's not engulfed in music, Nick is responsible for the video that shows up on WTMD.org. Since starting his own business in high school, Nick has provided video and editing services to a variety of companies, including Maryland Public Television, Comcast and the University of Maryland. In his spare time, he enjoys taking road trips and visiting friends and family.
